Environmental, Social, and Governance Policy and Impact Framework.
October 2025
1. Environment
We work on environmental goals and rules from ingredients to final packaged products:
Ingredients
We use 93–99.5% plant- and mineral-derived biodegradable ingredients in all our products. Synthetic ingredients are only used when they provide a more sustainable alternative to natural options. All our products vegan and cruelty-free.
Concentrated Formats
All of our products are offered in concentrated formats, reducing transport emissions by 70–90% compared to equivalent ready-to-use products. Our best-selling laundry detergent strips contain just 15% water, compared with traditional products, resulting in approximately 85% less water use in the laundry detergent market when strips are used.
Plastic-Free & Recyclable Packaging
We offer zero-plastic packaging options across our ranges. All plastic bottles contain at least 30% recycled plastic and are fully recyclable post-use. Other vessels are either reusable or recyclable, including labels.
Social
Radically Clean Products
All products adhere to self-imposed regulatory standards that exceed legal requirements, including IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines. Our formulations contain no known carcinogens, endocrine disruptors (EDCs), or hormone disruptors, in line with the Breast Cancer UK A to Z Chemicals of Concern List 2024/25 and checked by independent third parties.
All products are tested by third-party laboratories to ensure performance claims are accurate and substantiated.
Fair & Inclusive Working Standards
Our Head Office follows the London Mayor’s Good Work Standard, which covers four pillars:
• Fair pay and conditions: London Living Wage, secure contracts, financial wellbeing support.
• Engagement, voice, and wellbeing: Positive employee dialogue, workplace wellbeing initiatives, and constructive trade union engagement.
• Skills and progression: Management and leadership training, professional development, and opportunities for advancement.
• Diversity and inclusive recruitment: Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and fair recruitment practices.
2. Social
We work to strict social standards from head office to our international supply
and manufacturing base.
Compliant Manufacturing Partners
We only work with audited factories that meet strict quality, health & safety, social, and environmental standards.
For example, our European liquids manufacturer operates in line with the * United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and holds the following ISO certifications:
• ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management
• ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental management
• ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational health & safety
*United Sustainable Development Goals: 17 Goals to Transform Our World:
The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere.
The Goals were adopted by all United Nations Member States in September 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which sets out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals and their related targets. Never before had world leaders pledged common action across such a broad and universal policy agenda.
The 17 Goals are interconnected, apply to all countries, and need to be carried out by all stakeholders – governments, the private sector, civil society, the United Nations system and others – in a collaborative partnership.
This year marks the midpoint of SDG implementation. However, on its current course, the world may miss many Sustainable Development Goals targets by 2030. For the first time in decades, development progress has stalled and even reversed under the combined weight of climate disasters, conflict, economic downturn and the lingering aftermath of COVID-19. The SDG Summit, held on 18 to 19 September 2023 at the UN Headquarters in New York is a unique opportunity for the world to pivot from crisis to development and deliver the breakthroughs needed to achieve the Goals.
This exhibit illustrates the Sustainable Development Goals through photos from around the world, bringing to life what the 17 Goals mean for people on the planet.
This exhibit was produced by the UN Department of Global Communications.

3. Governance
We work to a mindset of continual perfection. Products are in permanent motion with constant review of ingredients, performance, production and finished product and the head office teams and manufacturing partners used in every element.
Dedicated ESG Oversight
• Dedicated personnel overseeing all manufacturing and supply partners — from fragrance and formulation laboratories to packaging suppliers and factories — ensuring compliance with clean ingredients, product quality, health & safety, social, and environmental standards. Standards are reviewed quarterly to incorporate new regulations.
• Maintaining a complete database of all fragrance and formulation ingredients, dosages, natural certificates, MSDS, and allergen reports, available at any time.
In-House Compliance
• Dedicated personnel ensuring our internal operations adhere to all Fair & Inclusive Working Standards.
4. 2025-2030 Impact Targets
We are proud to bring carcinogen and endocrine and hormone disruptor free products to the fragrance, household, body care markets.
Protection from Household Toxins
• Around 97% of UK households (~28.6 million in 2024) own a washing machine, making them potential users of laundry products.
• Currently, no laundry or homecare products are free from all known carcinogens or endocrine/hormone disruptors, highlighting the potential impact of our range.
• The UK laundry care market is valued at £2.09 billion (2025), with global expansion plans further increasing our potential reach.
Safer Fragrance Industry
• The UK fragrance market was valued at £1.74 billion (2024), forecast to exceed £2 billion by 2029.
• While most products comply with IFRA legal standards, they may still contain carcinogens or hormone disruptors.
• We have eliminated these ingredients across all products, creating a positive impact for UK and global consumers.
30% Virgin Plastic Reduction
• We use no 100% virgin plastic bottles, ensuring a minimum 30% reduction in virgin plastic, with targets to increase this annually.
